Marvell reveals new Pantheon platform for $99 smart phones

Marvell today announced its new platform for smartphones called Pantheon. Pantheon, which supports Android, Windows Mobile and "other leading operating systems," was designed to help drive the affordable and mass market $99 smartphone market. It's equipped with an 800MHz or faster ARM compliant processor, support for 720p video, DirectX, Open GL ES 2.0 compliant 3D graphics, as well as a mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) compliant camera and RF interfaces. Marvell is currently sampling the Pantheon platform to its customers.
