Opera Mini for iPhone to be announced during Mobile World Congress

Norwegian browser developer Opera plans to announce Opera Mini for iPhone during the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona next week, the company said today. The browser would compete with Apple's pre-installed Safari browser on the iPhone, although Opera co-founder Jon von Tezchner told the Associated Press he doesn't think Apple will deny its approval into the App Store, claiming that Apple will "not deny their users a choice when it comes to what browser they use."
